Triathlon Training Daddy: Some Kansas City Races

8:00am. The start and finish will be located at Shawnee Mission Park,
near the Theater in the Park. Runners will enjoy a great out and back
course. Runners will get: a certified course, chip timing, race t-shirt,
and awards.

October 1, 2011

10th annual Cure SMA Race and Roll 5K

• Saturday, October 1, 8:00am, Bishop Miege High School, 5041
Reinhardt Drive, Roeland Park, KS 66205. 5k (timed and untimed)
and; 1 mile walk starts at 8:00am, Kid's Dash starts at 9:00 am; Awards
immediately following Kid's Dash! www.fsma.org Help us develop a
treatment or cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy!

Belton Parks and Recreation 5k Run/Walk

This is our third annual 5K. Our goal is to establish a race enjoyabl
e to all participants, which will help raise money for the Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society. Leukemia is a malignant disease of the
bone marrow and blood. Funds raised will provide lifesaving blood
cancer research.

Join us for the 3rd annual Sounds In Kansas City 5K Run and Walk.

Proceeds raised will benefit MEI's "Ears That Hear" Fund which

provides hearing aids to patients who cannot afford them or whose insurance

plan does not provide coverage. Awards will be presented after the race.

Join us in raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer by
participating in the inaugural Lemon Run Kansas City in support
of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The course will offer
something for athletes of all abilities, including a Kids’ Race. Come
run or walk the beautiful 5K (3.1 miles) course in Waterfall Park,
located by Bass Pro Shop in Independence, Missouri. Prizes will
be awarded to the top male and female finishers by age group. If
you’re not a runner or walker, come out to cheer on our childhood
cancer heroes as they start the race! Likewise, if you are not located
in the Greater Kansas City Area, consider signing up as a virtual
runner/walker and we will send you a shirt from the event.
