Michel, on June 23 at 8:30am at SouthCreek Office Park at 132nd and
Metcalf in Overland Park for the inaugural Darren Sproles 5K Run/Walk!
The event benefits Sproles Empowered Youth, their foundation that empowers
teen boys and girls with essential life-skills that will encourage them
to become responsible and successful adults. Each participant will
receive an autographed Darren Sproles football card and will get a

event benefits the Kevin Gray Family Educational Fund, the University
of Kansas Cancer Center and the Greater Kansas City Sports Commission
and Foundation. Online registration is closed but you can still sign up

Woods provides the perfect setting for this event. Participants in the
5k and 10k will recieve technical shirts, chip timing, age group awards

the Lee Ann Britain Infant Development Center, The Love Fund for
Children, Operation Breakthrough and the Overland Park South Rotary

portion of the proceeds from this inaugural 5K event will benefit Lee's
Summit Social Services. Runners and walkers will enjoy a great course,

Putting the Boots to ALS 5K Run/Walk

The
inaugural Putting the Boots to ALS 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Run will
feature a beautiful course on Ward Parkway in Kansas City, provide
moisture wicking technical shirts to the 5K participants, and help to
fund collaborative research to find a cure for ALS. The Kids Run will
feature two heats on the Rockhurst High School track: 5 & Under and
6-10.
