The Grin & Bear It Run is held as part of the activities of the Harrisonville area's annual Burnt District Festival, and the course features streets lined with beautiful historic homes. Proceeds from the event benefit the Patient Assistance Fund, which helps needful patients at Cass Regional with special needs such as medication, home care supplies and transportation.

10/06/2012                                                                                          9:00 AM Haven's Wooded Trail Run is a 5K run sponsored by the Leavenworth Parks & Recreation Department. This race will be held at Haven's Park. Haven's Park is a beautiful wooded nature park with many different types of trails throughout its 65 acres including mulched, old asphalt fire roads, hills and single track. Race participants should plan on turning their running shoes into muddy shoes while running through mud pits, jumping and climbing over logs and maneuvering through other race course obstacles.     Location: Leavenworth, KS  Entry Fee: $25
