The Big 12 5K Fun Run and Family Stroll

Kick off March
basketball by participating in Kansas City's Inaugural Big 12 5K Fun Run
& Family Stroll on March 16th at 9am. Set in the heart of Big 12
country, this 5K course will wind around downtown Kansas City through the
Power & Light District. The overall male and female winners will
receive $1,000 in FREE GAS from Phillips 66 and be recognized at the Phillips
66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship final!

RESCHEDULED FOR APRIL 7 @ 9am
Truman Sports Complex - Kansas
City, MO
Participants will enjoy a
course around the Truman Sports complex, and each runner and walker will
receive an event t-shirt and the chance to win age group awards. All
participants are invited inside the Club Level of Arrowhead Stadium at the
conclusion of the race to enjoy vendor booths and entertainment followed by
the closing ceremony and walking of a "victory lap" with MDA
friends and families
Shamrock Shuffle 5K

Ballard Center in Lawrence, KS
More than 500 runners and
walkers turned out for the 23rd annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K in 2012 and even
more are expected this year! The Shamrock Shuffle 5K supports
the Lawrence Arts Center, Ballard Center and the County Fair
Swim Club. All registrants get their choice of a pancake feed or
traditional Irish breakfast after the race!
Martin City Whiskey Run

This new 5K run/walk through
the streets of Martin City (in South Kansas City) is part of a day long
celebration of St. Patrick's Day! Come for the 5K run/walk and stay for
the parade, called "Irishpalooza", following the race.

Downtown Lee's Summit
This inaugural event is a 5K
fun run clothes drive for all ages (don't worry, there won't be any nudity).
Come bundled up the day of the race with all your unwanted or unused
clothing. Stop at our Strip Stations during the race and shed your donations
for charity. Stay after the race and unwind with Free
Beer from County Beverage Company at our after party on Green
Street and stick around afterwards for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Diva Dash 5K Women's

The Diva Dash 5K Run/Walk is a
women-only 5K run/walk in which the participants are treated like divas!
Participants of the Diva Dash 5K will receive a women's cut tech shirt,
a large finishers
medal with detachable charm, top overall, masters overall, and
age group awards, an aid station on the course, large mile markers, and great
post race food and beverages! Lil' Princess Kids Run participants will
receive a cotton shirt, tiara and a ribbon! Be a part of the fun while
supporting the great programs for girls provided by our charity partner,
Girls on the Run!
Easter Egg 5K Run/Walk

Hop on over to South Creek
Office Park at 132nd and Metcalf and join us for the 2nd annual Easter Egg
5K. This fun family event features a beautiful course that you are sure to
enjoy plus face painters for the kids, a visit from the Easter bunny, great
event shirts, post race food and drink, unique finishers medals for all
participants plus overall and age group awards. In addition to the 5K we will
have the Lil' Bunny Fun Run for kids 8 years old and younger! A portion of
the proceeds from the event will benefit Marillac.

Lace up your shoes and help
combat poverty in our area by supporting the Community Services League! The
Young Friends of CSL are proud to host this 2nd annual event on
March 30, 2013, on the beautiful Independence Square. All fitness levels are
encouraged to participate and each participant will receive a t-shirt.
