Kansas City upcoming running events

Pub to Pub
Scenic course along well maintained rail trail through Pottawatomie bottoms area between Scipio, Kansas and Garnett, Kansas. This is a point to point race. Water break and portable restrooms available at the 3 mile point. Chip Timing by RaceDay Timing Solutions. Participants are responsible for their own return transportation to starting point after race. Limited parking available at starting line, so arranging a driver to drop you off and meet you at the finish is recommended.

Packet Pickup: Advance packet pickup available on Friday, September 16, 2011, from 7:00 - 9:00a and 1:00 - 7:00p, at Garnett Rec Center, 510 N. Lake Road. Late packet pickup on race day at designated Packet Pickup table at Scipio Supper Club between 7:00 - 8:00a
Race start time: 9:00a Scenic run along the Prairie Spirit Rail Trail from Scipio Supper Club to Santa Fe Depot in Garnett, Kansas. After party will be at the Tradewinds Bar & Grill, 110 West 5th Avenue.

Music and refreshments will be provided at finish. Medals for overall male and female finishers as well as top three male and female finishers in these age categories: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

Early Bird Registration fee includes race t-shirts. Please indicate shirt size on registration form. Limited number of t-shirts will be available and included in late registration fee while supplies last.

Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Sorry, no exceptions. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not give or sell your number to anyone else. You also may not transfer your application to the following year.

If you registered and are unable to participate in the race, we will be happy to mail your participant t-shirt to you. Please fill out and submit the cancellation t-shirt request form. T-shirt request forms will be accepted up to 30 days after the event. Participant t-shirts will be mailed approximately 4-6 weeks after the event. RiverFest 10K, 5K, 2M Walk, Kids Run
The Levee Run is held in conjunction with the FREE Riverside Riverfest in beautiful E.H. Young Riverfront Park. Free inflatable rides, concerts, amazing fireworks on the River. Begins Friday the 17th at 5PM. Go to Strollers, skates and pets are not allowed except on the 2-Mile Walk Course. This event will occur rain or shine. All entry fees will go to benefit Northland Animal Welfare Society.

Join the Raymore Park Foundation for an evening race through Eagle Glen and Silver Lake neighborhoods. Not far from a coyote den, race organizers hope to hear the sounds of the coyotes as runners pass by. This year's event serves as the kick off to Raymore's Festival in the Park.

Participate in the 4th Annual Medical Mission 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Family Fun Run/Walk!

Proceeds will benefit the medical missions of the Philippine Nurses Association of Greater Kansas Cityand the Philippine Medical Society of Greater Kansas City. Also benefits various local community projects for youth, adults and seniors in collaboration with the Filipino Cultural Center Foundation. JayDoc 5K Run/Walk
The JayDoc 5K is an excellent opportunity to support JayDoc’s year-round services to the underprivileged. The race starts and finishes in Shawnee Mission Park in Theater in the park.
