We will also be gathering food and support for Harvesters food pantry. Time: 8:00am Location: Unity Village Lee’s Summit Registration Fee: $35 through Oct 27 (Kids 14 & under $20 $40 at packet pickup and on race day Shirts & Medals: Cool tech running shirts to first 500 participants. Medal finisher medals to all finishing participants. *Kids 14 and under will receive a kids cotton-type t-shirt. Awards: Prizes to top 3 male/female in 5/10k races in each age category. Teams: Minimum of 4 people. Categories are male, female, co-ed, largest team & group costume. Packet Pickup & Race Expo: Packet Pickup at Bodies By Brad & Jen Studio Friday, October 28th from 11am–8pm. Pickup on race day 6:30-7:30am. Pre & Post Race Activities: Will start at 7am and go through the race till awards ceromony after the race. Volunteers: We are always looking for volunteers to help out at packet pickup and on the big day. If you have friends or family that would like to help out contact us. Race Check-in and Start located at Middleton & Maple Leaf Blvd. (near 4th and St. Joe Avenue) Registration fee: $20.00 for the 5K $15.00 per person for Group of three or more 5k Directions to Race-Site: From the North: Take 29 south to I-229 south (Exit 56B) to Highland Ave. (Exit 7). Turn left on Highland, then right on St. Joseph Ave. Go to 2nd stoplight; turn left on Middleton. Go 1 block to Maple Leaf Parkway. Event Details: All courses measured and certified. 17th annual event 7am Sunday October 30, 2011. Early Start at 6am or when you wish. Start: M78 shelter located a mile West of the traffic circle at the intersection of 7 and 78. From I-70 drive north about 7 miles on 7 highway to reach thew traffic circle. Blue Springs is 17 miles east of Kansas City on Highway I-70. No on-line fee's Start Location: 7 Hwy and 78 Hwy 64013
