Haven's Wooded Trail 5K Run

Haven’s Wooded Trail Run is a 5K (3.1 miles) run sponsored by the Leavenworth Parks & Recreation Department. This race will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2011 at Haven’s Park. The race will start at 9:00am. Haven’s Park is a beautiful wooded nature park with many different types of trails throughout its 65 acres including mulched, old asphalt fire roads, hills and single track. Race participants should plan on turning their running shoes into muddy shoes while running through mud pits, jumping and climbing over logs and maneuvering through other race course obstacles. Welcome runners to the 1st Annual Richmond Chamber of Commerce Turkey Trot Powered by Anytime Fitness. 5K run and 2 Miles walk.
