Long training days during the week

GIVEAWAY CLOSING TOMORROW!!

With how Em's work schedule goes, she's at work a lot of weekends.  To accommodate, I try and get my long rides and runs in during the week since we all know how unpredictable life can get with a 3 year old and 8 month old!

So, if I miss a workout on the weekend, it's not volume and I can live with that.

BUT, Friday I just couldn't drudge out of bed after 40 miles Thursday morning on the tri bike.  To make sure I got it in, I ran after the kids went to bed Friday night.

A.  Running late at night is kind of creepy with people still out and about and some neighborhoods with dimly lit streets.  At least at 4am most people are asleep.

6.  I was definitely more physically tired working out after a full day of work.  I felt it.

VI.  I could NOT get to sleep for over an hour after I was done running.  My mind was still working with the run endorphins.

Q.  For some reason I just did not sleep as well.

In conclusion of this science experiment, I need to drag my sad self out of bed and get the runs done in the AM!

I just can't workout in the am. But luckily my baby is 19 yo so I don't have the kiddo issues anymore. So I really admire your ability to workout in the ams. It is no small feat!
